Day 140 - Torquay to Melbourne

The swell is definitely dropping off now but still a few coming through at Jan Juc and we've made of the most of the swell this week. Quite crowded today but we got plenty of waves and happily packed camp afterwards having had plenty of water time this week.

Headed up to Melbourne via a couple of Geelong-region wineries. We went to Brown Magpie (not bad, the vines need a few more years) and Pettaval (pretty good, worth checking out) but the highlight was Shadowfax. Shadowfax easily had the best hit-rate of quality wines on the tasting list and we were very impressed, definitely one to check out and great quality from the entry-levels to the premium wines.

Got ourselves up to Aunty Jan's place for a big family barbie. Was great to see all the Melbourne clan and the food was amazing! Slightly struggled to stay up until midnight (my body is on camping time) but had a great night. Jack had such a good time his hair turned silver! (see last pic).
