Day 124 - Clare to Adelaide
Woke up to find my bee sting all red down my neck and chest but not swollen at all so I could still breathe, great way to start the day! We cruised out of the Clare Valley, dropping in at one last vineyard on the way out, Crabtree. So glad we did, they make amazing wine and we had a long chat to the proprietor.
Cruised through the Barossa Valley on the way into Adelaide and stopped in at few wineries including Yalumba (interesting to go to a bigger operation, technically in the Eden Valley rather than Barossa), Two Hands and Seppeltsfield (amazing line up of fortifieds). Still bloody hot, we definitely need to ge the AC sorted in Adelaide.
Mary treated us to a nice Thai dinner in Adelaide, haven't been to a restaurant in a while! After dinner we headed over to Jack and Mary's relatives house. Mary's cousin Claire has lived all over the world as her husband David works in the oil and gas industry. Oh and when I say works in, I mean he's currently the CEO of Santos! So, the house was rather nice (we stayed in the pool house) but not ostentatious in the slightest. David and Claire were very warm, inviting hosts and it was great to be in a real house with normal, family type stuff going on.
