Day 123 - Wilmington to Clare

Clare Valley wine tasting today! With so many from which to chose, we took some advice from the tourist office coupled with a bit of prior knowledge and wanting to avoid the bigger operations that we already knew (like Annie's Lane). Cardinham Estate was great, all ridiculously good value because they're trying to get their name out there but they make award winning wines every year. Their riesling was the pick. We tried to visit a couple of others but some (like Crabtree) were closed. We ended up at Mitchell Wines at the end of the day which was great, definitely one to check out.

Got ourselves set up at the Clare caravan park in the afternoon and decided to go for a swim in the pool. All going well until I swam into a bee and it stung me right on the neck! Having been allergic to bee stings in the past I was more than slightly concerned but kept an eye on it and self-medicated with a glass of wine for the pain.
