Day 112 - Denmark to Cape Riche (via Albany)

Started the day with a rather weird sight, dozens of pelicans all upside down in the water pecking up the mud. No idea what they were eating, never seen anything like it before!

Headed east (still can't get used to this) and stopped in Albany to visit the whaling museum. Quite an interesting visit and learnt lots about the whaling industry but we were a bit whaled-out after a couple of hours! Definitely worth visiting if you're ever in the area, it's actually one of the best museums I've been to. Could have done without seeing the 5m great white shark caught just out the front!

Continued on our way past sparkling blue inlets, pure white beaches, surf-polished rocky headlands and rolling green hills. This one of the prettiest places I've ever been. Not much surf to speak of unfortunately and a pretty steady onshore wind but what scenery! Ended up in a pretty basic campsite in a place called Cape Riche. Really out there in the middle of nowhere with a perfect beach and little island out the front.
