Day 111 - Fernhook Falls to Denmark

Had a cruisy brekky in our cosy little hut before heading down the windy road through the gret southern forests. We made a small diversion to do the Valley of the Giants walk, a suspension-bridge type boardway about 40m above the forest floor! The trees here are ridiculously huge and you feel quite a long way from the rest of the world. Really cool.

We wound our way through more forests and found ourselves at a little winery called Old Kent River (a tip from our wine tour guide from Margaret River). This was (for me) the ultimate winery, not only did they have excellent pinot and shiraz but they also sold yabbies! Well not exactly yabbies but marron, a big black version of a yabbie (and also some electric blue-coloured ones!). We headed on to Denmark (very cute little town) and camped up for the night with a glass of wine and a (very tasty) marron each for dinner.
