Cruised up the sand along Cable Beach to try and find a few waves. Didn't realise it was a clothing-optional beach until we saw a few blokes kicking back in their camping chairs with their meat and veg on display! Managed to find a little peak bewteen all the Akubra-only-wearing nudists and got a few turns in.
Got Dani her own 100lb handline and back down to the pier in the afternoon for some more fishing. Again not sucessful but we did see a whale and a turtle! Had fish and chips for dinner (we can admit defeat when we have to) at the semi-fancy restaurant next to the pier which was actually quite nice. Had to find out what jewfish tastes like one way or another!
