Early surf to ourselves at Queens Head back beach (around the corner from Point Plomer) before packing up and heading north. Great drive up the coast to Iluka, especially once we saw the first cane fields. Every 100km feels more and more tropical!
Took a diversion to South West Rocks and Trial Bay to check out the menacing (but well positioned) old gaol ruins.
