Day 004 - Point Plomer

Slightly smaller but much cleaner at the point this morning, got a few more unbelievably long waves before the rest of the crew woke up and paddled out. The swell was meant to be dropping off and it was definitely less consistent and not really enough waves to go around with even 6 or 7 guys out. Left it to the dads, grommets and dolphins and headed in for brekky althoughh we decided it was worth hanging around for another day while we knew there were at least a few waves around in the dying swell.

Cruised up to Crescent Head for a look around. Very crowded at the point so just ate a hamburger and watched. Headed back to the camp checking all the beaches and points along the way. Ended up paddling out at an ok-looking beachie at Big Hill and having an amazing surf!

Great banks, light offshore and some pumping waves! Shared it with just one very polite local guy, such a pleasure to share waves with other surfers as comrades rather than opponents, great vibe around here.
