Picked up a takeaway Melbourne coffee for the drive down to Torquay (Melbournians reckon they have the best coffee down here, it's not bad). The surf report didn't look too amazing today but the rest of the week could be great.
Got to Jan Juc to find a few lumpy 3 footers coming through and got out there for a couple of hours. Not awesome but decent enough, especially on a Monday when everyone else is at work! We set up camp on the same site in the caravan park, right next to my favourite post. Will try to to drive into it again!
Headed out for another surf at Torquay Surf Beach (next to the caravan park). Sloppy and onshore but a bit of fun. Thought I'd get an early night but hadn't accounted for schoolies being on this week! We'd managed to set up camp right across from a nightclub and the music was pumping until midnight, not to mention the squealing teen girls. Nightmare!
