Day 082 - Stanley Rest Area to De Gray River Rest Area

Didn’t get off to the best start today with Jack quite ill and spewing last night’s dinner all over the place. Worst possible place to be sick, in the stinking hot outback. Dani and I packed up the camp and we hung out in the shade while Jack painted various parts of the campsite with lentils and then slept in off in the semi-coolness of the car (only 30 degrees instead of 40 outside).
Decided to make a few kays down the road but take it easy.

Got ourselves to De Gray River rest area which was really nice under some trees next to the semi-dry river. Dani and I set up while Jack crashed out again although he was looking much better than earlier. Dani put Jack into the tent and he was gone for the evening so we had dinner and watched a bit of a dvd under the stars. Great little spot, despite all the other travellers scattered through the trees it really felt like we were the only ones there after dark.
