A final swing past the boat ramp in the morning to wave goodbye to the crocs and off to Kakadu. We headed straight up to Ubirr to check out the rock art then threw a line in at Cahills Crossing. Stayed well up on the rocks while fishing due to the massive crocs crusing past. One guy had just caught a 50cm barra (the minimum limit is 55cm so it had to go back) but we didn't land anything despite a couple of bits. Got to catch one of these bloody things on this trip!
Dropped in at Jabiru for fuel and camped up at Jim Jim Billabong. Not much of a campsite but awesome setting up out laptop next to the truck with the sound coming out the stereo and watching dvds under the stars! It's starting to become our favourite time of day due to the brutal heat while the sun is in the sky.
