Very relaxed morning kicking around the house, I didn't get out of my trackies until after 1pm! So nice to sleep in a queen bed with a real mattress, use an electric kettle, etc. We're making the most of the luxury as it's going to be a long time on the road through WA.
No surf up here at the moment but we drove up to 1770 to check it out and then down to the 4wd track that runs next to the coast through the Deepwater National Park. Awesome fun trucking through the soft sand and good 4wd practice for us. Reminded me of living in Arnhem land when I was a kid. Not sure how different the bush actually is up there but the sandy tracks and various plants sparked a weird familiarity.
