Super chilled morning reading books around the campsite and relaxing under the palm trees. We knew the surf wasn't much chop (pun intended) but went and checked it anyway at Sunshine Beach. Pretty small and dismal but went out for an exercise session and got a few waves in, ended up having a 2 hour surf!
Had a look at the Noosa Heads points and they were pumping! Winding off perfectly down the line but at only 1/3 of a foot. So painful to see perfect setups lacking swell. Went for a massive 10km walk through the national park instead which was great, highly recommended if you're there. Saw our first snake of the trip, a fairly big coastal carpet python.
